One of the most beneficial tax advantages for a donor to is to give appreciated securities. By donating appreciated securities, you receive an income tax deduction of the full fair market value of the securities and capital gain taxes do not apply.
It’s simple:
- Inform your financial advisor that you would like to make an appreciated securities gift to Beyond Blindness
- Your advisor will ask you to complete a Charitable Gift Form
- You will need our DTC #0164 and account #7608-6496
- Your advisor will make the transfer
